Davis Street Poised to Celebrate 58 Years of Service

A respected community service executive in San Leandro, Rose Padilla Johnson has received accolades from the United Nations, including the Global Citizen Award, in recognition of her decades of dedicated work. For more than three decades, Rose Padilla Johnson has served as the CEO of Davis Street Community Center in San Leandro.

Davis Street Community Center boasts five decades of ceaseless dedication of resources into programs that serve to extricate low-income families in San Leandro and other surrounding areas throughout Alameda County in California. To that aim, the society has initiated unprecedented programs that look to solve different aspects of the puzzle while maintaining concurrent alignment with the core mission of the society, which is to help families improve their quality of life through education, medical aid, and financial aid. After over five decades of operation the society announced its upcoming 58th anniversary which is Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
